Oooooh! Great idea! Your selection for Film #1 is fortuitous, 'cause I'll still be out of the country, but I've already seen it. And Burden of Dreams, admittedly. But I haven't seen most of the other selections, and will very much look forward to it!
Just please say that Season 2 will feature The Best of Everything.
You never know...but, we might save that for season VIII: Gods & Monsters.
Can we talk about Film Club?
I've always wanted to see...
Seven Samourai.
What season would that film fit in?
A numbered season, like The Three Musketeers and Slaughterhouse Five?
Oh, and I too have a suggestion for Season 2:
The Lovers on the Bridge. It fits the theme very nicely: Hidden Worlds, Secret Identities...
I also have a special attachment to that movie as it was the last movie I saw as a student in Paris before I got on a plane bound to the US. You know the rest of the story...
Oh, and I forgot I had a gmail account. I had to check if it still worked. :)
Yeah, I think The Seven Samourai would probaby fit into season IX: Numerology.
